Attorney Advertising
This website is attorney advertising. It is intended to provide general information about Walker & Associates and is not intended to constitute legal advice on any specific matter. Prior results described on this site do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Visiting this website, submitting our contact form, or otherwise communicating with Walker & Associates through this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when the Firm has agreed to represent you, confirmed there is no conflict of interest, and a formal engagement has been signed.
Paid Consultations & Scope of Representation
The Firm offers a paid 60-minute legal consultation. The consultation fee covers up to one hour of an attorney's time to review your matter and advise you. It does not obligate you — or the Firm — to move forward with ongoing representation after the consultation.
Payment of the consultation fee secures your appointment time and entitles you to a 30 minute legal consultation. Booking and paying for a consultation creates a limited attorney-client relationship for the duration of that consultation so that we can provide legal advice about your situation. It does not, by itself, create an ongoing attorney-client relationship for continued representation in your matter.
If, after the consultation, both you and the Firm decide to move forward, we will provide a separate written engagement agreement describing the scope of representation, fees, and responsibilities. Representation begins only after that agreement is signed.
Confidentiality & Privilege
Information you share with our attorneys in a consultation is treated as confidential and is protected under applicable rules governing attorney-client communications, even if you do not hire the Firm for ongoing representation.
However, the consultation is limited to advice given during that one-hour session. We do not monitor deadlines, file documents, or take other actions in your case unless and until a separate written engagement agreement is signed.
Not Legal Advice
The content on this website — including practice area descriptions, case summaries, and articles — is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal advice for any individual situation. Laws change, and the application of the law to your specific facts requires consultation with an attorney.
Confidential Information
Do not send confidential documents or information through the website before your consultation is scheduled and confirmed. Confidential information should be shared directly with the attorney during your consultation, or through secure channels we provide. Information sent before that point may not be treated as confidential or privileged.
Jurisdiction
Walker & Associates is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia. Attorneys at the Firm may also be licensed in other jurisdictions as noted on their individual profiles. Nothing on this site should be construed as an offer to represent you in a jurisdiction where the Firm or a given attorney is not licensed to practice.
