Joél Snellings is a Legal Intern at J. Walker & Associates and a third-year law student at North Carolina Central University School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, critical thinking, and advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Joél served as a Certified Student Trademark Attorney, gaining practical experience in trademark law, intellectual property protection, client counseling, and legal research. Through this role, he assisted clients with protecting and developing their brands while strengthening his understanding of the legal issues facing entrepreneurs, creators, and growing businesses.
Joél’s legal interests include entertainment law, sports law, business law, artificial intelligence, and transactional practice. He is particularly interested in helping businesses, athletes, entertainers, and innovators navigate the evolving legal landscape and capitalize on opportunities while managing legal risk.
At J. Walker & Associates, Joél supports attorneys through legal research, drafting, case preparation, and client-focused advocacy.
