Sarah Manowitz is a 3L at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a graduate of Tulane University, where she earned honors in General Legal Studies and Paralegal Studies. She is a Fellow of the Louisiana Institute of Politics and a recipient of multiple academic honors, including Loyola Law Dean and PFLAG scholarships. She joined Walker & Associates as a paralegal and law clerk in May 2026.
Her experience spans civil law notary practice, labor and employment matters, alcohol beverage outlet law, intellectual property, art law, cultural property protection, civil litigation, and civil rights law including legal protections for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Beyond her legal work, Sarah is a passionate community leader who has been honored by New Orleans Magazine as a Top Female Achiever and by the City of New Orleans for her work in food security. In her free time, she volunteers with the Pro Bono Project and holds no-cost notarial clinics at embassies and other safe spaces to provide access to legal services for vulnerable communities.
She also serves on several nonprofit boards, including DiversiTea Divas and the Alphabet Collective, reflecting her lifelong commitment to equality, education, and social justice. Sarah has two very spoiled dogs, Mamou and Monica.
