Stephanie K. Hay is the founder and principal attorney of The Hay Law Group, PLLC, with offices in Houston, Texas, and Decatur, Georgia. Licensed in both Texas and Georgia, she represents creatives, athletes, and innovators across music, film, television, podcasting, influencer partnerships, and NIL deals. In 2026, Stephanie joined forces with Attorney Walker to expand their collective reach in television and film.

A trusted industry voice, she has spoken at the Texas Entertainment Law Institute, American Bar Association, and BRIC Media Maker Weekend, and has been quoted in Rolling Stone and featured in Voyage ATL.

Education & Teaching

An educator at heart, Stephanie spent seven years as an adjunct professor in the Music Business department at Houston Community College and served as Past Chair of HCC's Music Business Advisory Board. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, a certificate in Entertainment Law & Industry from USC Gould School of Law, and a B.A. in Journalism from Howard University.

Beyond the Practice

Outside the office, she shares her expertise on her YouTube channel, The Entertainment Attorney, and gives back through leadership roles including former Board Secretary of Women in Film and Television Houston and board service with LueWish, a nonprofit supporting women facing life-changing medical diagnoses.
